Crantock Beach information and Guide
There are car parks at Crantock Beach and West Pentire. The beach is backed by sand dunes. The beach is a large, sandy beach with extensive sand dunes, rock pools and caves. Crantock Beach is situated at the mouth of the River Gannel.
Surfing: a mile south of the town, this is a north west facing beach sheltered by east and west Pentire Points. Worth a visit when other beaches are blown out, the waves are best at mid to high tide. Hazards: rips.
